Terms of Service
Website Use & Material Supply Terms | Effective Date: September 2026
Welcome to sandlawrencepur.blogspot.com, the website of Lawrencepur Sand Supply Company, operated by Dhurnal Enterprises. By accessing this website, contacting us, requesting a quotation, or purchasing materials through our business communication channels, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
These terms are intended to explain our general website, quotation, supply, transportation, and material-handling practices. Specific commercial transactions may also be subject to separately agreed quotation, invoice, purchase order, or other written terms.
1. Website Information & Product Descriptions
-
```
- Product descriptions, photographs, specifications, availability information, and other content published on this website are provided for general informational purposes.
- Natural sand, gravel, silica sand, grit, and other aggregates can vary in colour, grading, moisture, particle size, and other characteristics depending on the source, processing, screening, washing, and available material.
- Customers should confirm the required material specification before placing an order, particularly where a specific grading, mesh size, cleanliness, or technical characteristic is required.
- We may update product information, specifications, photographs, availability, or website content without prior notice.
2. Prices & Quotations
- Prices displayed on this website, where provided, should be treated as indicative unless specifically confirmed in a quotation.
- Material prices and transportation charges may change because of market conditions, fuel prices, loading costs, vehicle availability, material availability, distance, and other operating factors.
- A quotation may specify whether the price is ex-plant, pickup, or delivered.
- A final price should be confirmed directly with our authorized representative before dispatch or payment.
3. Orders & Payment
- Orders are subject to product availability, agreed pricing, transportation availability, and confirmation by our representative.
- Payment terms may vary depending on the customer, order size, delivery arrangement, and agreed commercial terms.
- Unless credit terms have been specifically agreed, customers may be required to make payment before dispatch, before unloading, or according to the payment terms communicated at the time of order.
- Customers should retain payment records, quotations, invoices, and other transaction documents for their records.
4. Measurement & Quantity
- Sand and aggregate quantities may be agreed on the basis of CFT, truck/dumper capacity, metric tonnes, weighbridge records, or another mutually agreed measurement method.
- Where quantity is calculated by vehicle volume, actual quantity may depend on the agreed vehicle dimensions and loading conditions.
- Where a weighbridge measurement is used, the applicable weighbridge record may be used as the basis for settlement where agreed between the parties.
5. Transportation & Delivery
- We may coordinate transportation through independent truck owners, drivers, transporters, or logistics partners.
- Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, vehicle availability, loading delays, route restrictions, security conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- Customers are responsible for providing a suitable and reasonably accessible delivery location for the agreed vehicle.
- Any additional transportation, waiting, detention, route-change, unloading, or access-related charges should be confirmed between the customer and the supplier/transporter before they are incurred where reasonably possible.
- Delivery to a site does not necessarily mean that the material will be unloaded at any location that is unsafe, inaccessible, prohibited, or unsuitable for the delivery vehicle.
6. Material Inspection & Quality
- Customers should inspect the material at the time of delivery and, where practical, before unloading.
- If a customer believes that delivered material does not correspond with the agreed product or specification, the customer should contact us as soon as possible and preferably before the material is mixed, processed, or used.
- Claims may be difficult to assess after material has been mixed with other materials, contaminated, processed, or incorporated into a construction project.
- Product suitability for a particular construction, industrial, agricultural, filtration, blasting, or other application should be determined according to the customer's technical requirements and, where appropriate, advice from a qualified engineer or technical professional.
7. Complaints & Claims
- Customers should report quantity, quality, specification, delivery, or other order-related concerns promptly after receiving the material.
- Where a complaint is made, we may request photographs, delivery details, vehicle information, measurement records, samples, invoices, or other relevant information to investigate the matter.
- Any refund, replacement, adjustment, or other resolution will depend on the circumstances of the transaction and the applicable agreed commercial terms.
8. Limitation of Responsibility
Construction and industrial materials are used in projects involving factors outside the control of a material supplier. Final performance may depend on material selection, mix design, cement type, water ratio, additives, batching, compaction, curing, workmanship, site conditions, equipment, and other factors.
Customers are responsible for determining whether a particular material is suitable for their intended application and for complying with applicable engineering, construction, safety, and regulatory requirements.
9. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, road closures, traffic restrictions, government actions, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, fuel shortages, transport disruptions, natural events, or temporary interruptions at loading or processing locations.
